Accounts Semi-Senior (Ref: J10412) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates is supporting a well-known regional firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Semi Senior/Senior to join their team. This is a friendly and nurturing team environment, and they are looking for someone who has experience working in a similar role but who is looking for a new challenge to join their team near Ashford.

They have a lovely office with parking on site and can offer development, progression, and training if desired.

You will be responsible for a varied role comprising of providing accountancy and tax services to sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
Preparation of client accounts for review by the managers
Various client services including projects, analysis, and advisory work
Preparation of tax computations
You will manage jobs within budget
Supervise and review the work of more junior staff
Liaise with and assist the tax department on computations
Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external business partners
Maintain client relationships and high service levels

Ideally, you will be studying AAT/ACCA/ACA or be Qualified by Experience
3/4 years’ experience of working in accountancy
Experience in supervising small teams
Experience Xero and Sage would be very beneficial

This is a reputable Kent based practice with a strong and varied client base. This is an office-based role.
