AAT Accounts Assistant (Ref: J9074) Permanent

Our client is a successful multi-sited Kent based firm looking for someone to join their team. Located near Whitstable they are looking for an AAT studier/AAT qualified experienced individual, looking for progression to join them. The Role would suit an individual with previous practice experience, with good knowledge of general bookkeeping, accounts preparation, tax, and client management experience. The firm is expanding and prides itself in breaking away from the traditional Practice approach. They are highly ITC influenced and work within a selected client base servicing professional organisations.

The role will involve:

– Accounts preparation for year-end accounts
– VAT returns and management accounts for clients
– Tax work for limited companies and sole traders.
– Liaising with the HMRC for limited
– Bookkeeping and Payroll
– Supporting more junior staff
– Working closely with clients
– Good IT skills and experience required

They are looking for a professional AAT studier/qualified to join them and help with their growing workload. In turn, the Firm offers a flexible approach with support. Holiday between 20 and 25 days depending on training support. Ideally, they are looking for someone with 2 years in a similar role but they would consider less experience. They offer hybrid working, available after the probation period, with staff working 2 days at home and 3 in the office, with additional flexibility available to vary those days. They are a very friendly team and have a welcoming office environment and offer their staff all-around support.
