Accountant (Part-Time) (Ref: J11444) Permanent

PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT/2 DAYS A WEEK/REMOTE WORKING AVAILABLE

I am supporting a client based in Kent who is looking for a Part-Time Accountant to join their team. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can work 2 days a week, this can be spread over 3 days and could be term time only to suit. They are based in Edenbridge, Kent, they are an established small accountancy firm looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join their team. They are keen to attract a qualified accountant who has previous experience of working for a firm of accountants, who has the depth of experience to bring with them maturity and knowledge which will allow them to engage effectively with their varied client base. This role would suit someone who has worked in a general accounting capacity who has an understanding of working with corporate clients, and someone with a good accounts bias with knowledge of both personal and corporation tax issues.

The role will be working with Directors being responsible for managing a client portfolio, so experience is key. You will be responsible for the preparation and finalising of the client accounts, preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns, and advising in all areas. You will be proficient in Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage and be IT literate. This is a friendly professional environment and due to the nature of the clients, they would like to have someone who fits well with the current team. The role can be office-based but they can offer the flexibility for you to be based working from home. It is key that you are happy to work in a small but professional environment.
