Accountant (Ref: J9371) Permanent

I am supporting a Firm of Accountants based in Canterbury who are looking to appoint a qualified accountant to their team. They are looking for someone with previous experience within the profession and in a position demonstrating similar skills. They are a specialist independent Firm who offer services to a wide range of clients. They offer financial and tax advisory services. Very progressive in their approach they have a very tailored attitude to their services and clients alike.

The role will involve a combination of accounts, management accounting, corporate tax and personal tax issues. This is a traditional role and will involve a consultative approach.

This role would suit someone who has a good knowledge of general accounting and tax processes with the ability to advise clients accordingly. You will be fully qualified ACCA/ACA or CTA and have previous experience in a similar capacity as you will be responsible for:

Managing a portfolio clients, dealing with clients queries and supporting them
Working in a busy environment
Preparing client accounts and advising on general taxation issues
Experience of supporting sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, SMEs and OMBs
Able to offer general practice and advisory and planning services
Supervising and reviewing staff and their work
Managing internal processes and procedures
Supporting the Partner

Systems:
Sage, Excel, QuickBooks

The salary is flexible depending on experience.
