We are recruiting for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join a respected independent accountancy practice based in Mid Kent, offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000.
The Role: This is a mixed accounts and audit position with exposure to a wide range of clients across various sectors.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts
- Assisting with audit fieldwork (planning to completion)
- Preparing corporation tax computations
- Supporting client bookkeeping and management accounts
- Working closely with managers, partners, and clients
- Reviewing work of junior staff and providing guidance
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in UK practice
- Exposure to audit and accounts preparation
- Strong IT skills – ideally experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
