Goldhawk Associates are working to support a well-established reputable firm in the Tonbridge area of Kent. This is an interesting opportunity for a qualified experienced Accounts and Tax Manager who is looking for a challenging role to join this successful local Firm of Accountants. They are looking for an experienced Manager to join their team and support the Partners, responsible for your own portfolio you will offer a range of accounting and tax advisory services to the client base.
The clients are varied but it will be predominately servicing a large portfolio of small companies and sole traders. There will be a combination of accountancy support and compliance advice and services so a generalist background would be beneficial. You will also be a part of the Senior Management Team which will entail managing workflow and staff and attending Partner’s meetings to feedback to the Partners.
This would suit an experienced and confident individual as there will be a great deal of management required. Key to this role will be the further development of their service provision as there is a lot of potential there and they are looking to ensure that the provision offered to their clients is fully tailored to their needs. There will be ad hoc projects and services to engage with and a flexible and open approach will be required.
You will work alongside other Managers within the firm and have the support from the more junior members of the team. You will also be required to develop and nurture these staff members and be responsible for the provision of accounting services, personal and corporate tax returns, management accounting and VAT work.
If you are CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified this may be of interest to you. It is essential that you have a strong varied background in accounts, tax, compliance and advisory in order to be considered for this position.
The Firm offers a competitive salary plus a pension scheme and parking. Personal development is always encouraged. They offer hybrid working of work from where you want to but ideally in the office at least 2 days a week, flexible working, core hours at 9-5 but they can be flexible between 8-6pm, there is parking and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
