Accounts Assistant – (CIS and Sage experience required) (Ref: J9432) Permanent

My client situated in Sittingbourne are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis to oversee a variety of tasks up to trial balance. This is an integral position in the finance function and someone with previous experience in CIS and using Sage Line 50 is important.

Specific duties include:

Enter Accounts data onto Sage Line 50 and Eque2 Job Costing
Credit Control
Sending monthly Statements & Bacs Remittance’s
Bank Reconciliation
Production of Sales Invoices
Vat Returns
End of month procedures – up to Trial balance
Raise Supplier Payments and do banking
Check Invoices against orders
Filing and general admin
Use of Excel for Financial reporting
Producing Eque2 Sub Contract reports
Preparation of monthly management report
Petty Cash
CIS Verification and reporting.
Maintenance of Approved Suppliers database
Deputing for Accounts Manager or Accounts staff when required
