Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller (Ref: J10756) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are delighted to be partnering with a successful growing business based near West Malling who are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their credit control function within the finance team. The role has opened due to continuous growth creating the need to bring on board a Senior Credit Controller passionate about implementing change. This is a permanent role and will be reporting into the Head of Credit Control, who is looking to bring in a forward-thinking person. The successful candidate will be someone able to deal with process implementation, credit control, and have great empathetic skills.
You will be expected to assist the rest of the team with Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliations.
Duties for the Senior Credit Controller:
·Credit control debt collection focusing on high value accounts
·Administration of new customer credit account requests.
·Review and manage the aged debtor report primarily in respect of overdue accounts.
·Daily Debtors report highlighting overdue debt and the actions being taken to collect the debt.
·Completion of bank and customer account reconciliations
·Oversea Cash allocation to the Accounts Receivable ledger
·Setting up new Standing order and renewing the existing ones annually/when necessary.
·The position holder will be expected to build and maintaining good relationships with customers by understanding their operations and determining how best to ensure payment terms are met.
·Supporting Senior Management with query/invoice/payment updates.
·Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
·To ensure monthly cash and overdue debt KPIs are achieved.
·Utilising MS Excel to provide accurate credit & revenue information Implementing process to run the credit control department with daily targets and reporting
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must have:
·Experience using Excel
·Previous Credit Control experience
·Confident communication skills
·Empathetic skills, Teamwork, Problem solving abilities
