My client based in Kent is recruiting for a Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller to join their busy finance team. In this role you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for bank reconciliations, variance analysis and weekly reports.
Additional duties will include:
-Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
-Chase payment of applications and retentions
-Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and reports
-Resolve payment issues
-Final statement of account processing
-Credit control
-VAT and CIS Returns
The ideal candidate for this role will possess experience within an accounts department and have worked within construction sector knowing retentions. You must also have strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables) and be actively studying towards your CIMA or ACCA,
