Goldhawk Asssociates are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant for our client based in Dartford, Kent. This role involves supporting the finance team with invoice processing, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

The Candidate

Candidates must be fluent in Dutch with succsesful previous experience working and covering all areas of the ledger. 

Key Responsibilities
• Process incoming invoices, supplier payments, and staff expenses.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve disputes, and monitor aged debtor arrears.
• Produce sales invoices, customer statements, and assist with consignment accounting entries.
• Maintain accurate Grower payment summaries and communicate price returns and settlements.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and weekly sales summaries.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, fixed asset register updates, and monthly depreciation journals.
• Support year-end audit preparations, including schedules and supporting documentation..
• Collaborate with the team to meet financial reporting deadlines and complete ad-hoc projects.

Requirements
• Fluent Dutch speaker (required).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
