Accounts Assistant (Temp to Perm) (Ref: J10118) Temporary

We are currently working with a fantastic company based in Bromley who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

– Purchase ledger: checking, processing and paying invoices
– Expenses: checking, processing and paying employee expenses
– Reconciliations: perform daily and monthly reconciliations including bank and suspense account and other balance sheet reconciliations
– Payments: processing ad-hoc payments by cheque, Faster payment and international transfer in an accurate and timely manner
– Queries: respond to queries from suppliers, employees, and internal stakeholders
– Reporting: provide information to management
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders particularly Customer Services for queries and payment information
– Update process documents for Financial Control tasks
– Provide support and cover for other members of the Financial Control team as required
– Assist with Treasury and unit pricing duties

The successful candidate will be well organised with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team. A desire to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA is preferable.
