Accounts Senior/Manager (Ref: J10354) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with an established local Firm of Accountants, supporting them to appoint an Accounts Senior/ Manager. Our client based in Canterbury are looking for an experienced individual to join their busy team working on a commercial portfolio of clients.

Depending on your experience you will be involved in supporting or managing a portfolio of clients, preparing management and financial accounts, tax advisory work and general provision of accounting services. You will gain exposure to a varied client base, with exposure to medium to smaller size clients and will be client engaging so good communications skills are key.

This role takes responsibility for preparing limited company accounts, preparation of corporation tax computations, preparing sole trader and partnership, as well as ad hoc special assignment work. In addition, you will be supporting, training and assisting junior members of the team.

You will:
Prepare Limited Company and LLP accounts, Corporation Tax computations, Sole Trader and Partnership accounts and Management accounts
Work closely with the partners
Assisting and training junior members of the team
Previous Professional practice experience in accounts preparation
Proactive approach to work
Effective communicator and good at working in a team
ITC experience useful, particularly Xero
Must be a car driver and hold a current license

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice, be ACA/ ACCA qualified. You will assist with the overseeing finalisation of client accounts and assist with the general running of the office.
