Accounts Supervisor – Contract

• Up to £35,000
• 3/6 Month Contract

 
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant on a 3/6-month contract who can help oversee the daily operations of the accounting department onto a new system (Sage 50), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

• Process and verify invoices for goods and services.
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers.
• Process customer payments and record receipts.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage collections.

Financial Record Maintenance:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in the accounting system.

Bank Reconciliations:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
