Assistant Accountant (Ref: J11612) Permanent

My client is based in Maidstone and they are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are an established firm with a strong local generalist client base. You will work within the outsourcing team and support in their provision of clients services. Ideally you will be studying your AAT and have some previous experience of working within an accountancy firm. If you are looking to work within a supportive environment where you will work as part of a dedicated team, then this may be of interest to you.

The Role would suit an individual with previous practice experience, with good knowledge of general bookkeeping, accounts preparation, tax and client management experience. The firm is expanding and prides itself in breaking away from the traditional Practice approach. They are highly IT influenced and work within a selected client base servicing professional organisations.

The role will involve:

– Accounts preparation
– Tax preparation, liaising with the HMRC
– Bookkeeping and Payroll
– Supporting more junior staff
– Working closely with clients

They are looking for a professional AAT studier to join them and help with their growing workload. In turn the Firm offer a flexible approach with support, parking on site, flexible working.
