Assistant Management Accountant (Ref: J11463) Permanent

Our client based in Canterbury is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their small team in an exciting period of growth for the business. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will assist in preparing monthly management accounts inclusive of balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner.

Responsibilities/Tasks.

·Accurals and prepayments
·Responsible for daily and weekly Cashbook reconciliations
·Credit Control
·Fixed Asset register – Calculation of monthly depreciation / asset disposals/additions
·Assisting with the preparation of information for the annual budgeting process.
·Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable.
·Reporting on sales and assessing failures.

Candidate Profile
·Prior Experience in a similar role, to include: Assistant Management Accountant or Assistant Financial Accountant.
·Organisational skills and a can-do attitude
·Actively studying towards your AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications
·Good communication skills and a team player
