Goldhawk Associates are supporting a client who is based in Kent/Sussex, they are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to their team. They are a generalist Firm with several offices in the South East and due to continuing growth are keen to attract the right person to join them. This role will require you to work within a team environment, you will be supporting varied client base and be responsible for planning, detailed testing and completion of audits for small, medium and large companies and charities.
Ideally you will be:
AAT qualified as a minimum, qualified by experience, or ACCA / ACA Qualified
A minimum of 5 years’ previous practice experience
Main duties will include
• Planning, detailed testing and completion of audits;
• Preparation of accounts from client records;
• Independent examinations for charities;
• Preparation of tax computations;
• Preparation and submission of company tax returns; and
• Client interaction.
• Good Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of IRIS and MyWorkpapers would be beneficial but not required

This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a team working closely together to shared and collaborate with each other. There will be a lot of client engagement indirectly and directly, so it is essential have good communication skills, Support and training will be given depending on experience and you will be offered the opportunity to develop within the Firm. The salary will reflect experience and includes 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays, after probation: Pension, private medical will be offered. They also offer agile working and can offer a balance of 3 days working from home and two days office based. You could be based in Bexhill or Tenterden for this role as there is flexibility as to where you can be based. This firm offer a strong work life balance and have a good ethos regarding team spirit and development. This role would suit someone with strong audit and accountancy experience with good organisational, time management skills and the ability to work with others and independently.
