Audit Senior/Manager (Ref: J9517) Permanent

My Client is based in Kent, they are looking to appoint an Audit Senior or Manager to their team. They are an established large international Firm with a strong reputation within the area. You will be working within an experienced team and will support a diverse portfolio of clients, of differing sizes and industries. You will be providing a professional and quality service is throughout. Working closely with the Partners you will ensure that all files are technically compliant and that expected professional and internal standards are met,

The Role:
Responsible for co-ordinating a team, and for managing projects and multiple assignments
Managing a number of audit teams and ensuring planned work is completed within the agreed budget and timescales
Managing a Portfolio of audit clients to deliver services including building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Audit planning and completing audits for clients, acting as a principal contact for your clients delivering a proactive service
Work to tight deadlines taking responsibility for your work and multi-tasking in an organised manner
Preparation and presentation of reports to senior management and Audit Committees/Boards
Supervising and coaching more junior team members of the team
Controlling audit and accounts preparation undertaken by junior members of staff
Be proactive in Business Development activities and developing, maintaining and monitoring your own network
Involvement in proposals and presentations for new work.
Potential for involvement in the provision of wider assurance services to clients

You will be:
ACA / ACCA qualified
Statutory audit experience gained in public practice
Knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP essential
Accounts compilation skills
Experience in drafting corporation tax computations
