Bookkeeper (Ref: J9136) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are supporting a firm of accountants based in Canterbury who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper to their Business Services Team. This appointment is for a contract position for a minimum period of 9 months. They are looking for an experienced bookkeeping/management accountant to provide bookkeeping services to their clients, ensuring deadlines and proper accounting standards are met. You will work within a team and be able to communicate effective with internal and external stakeholders effectively and ensure services are delivered to a high standard. They are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a bookkeeping role with strong ITC skills preferably with previous experience of Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.

Your role:

Top work effectively to support clients
Work with both internal and external stakeholders
Support managers by providing them with the right service level and information
Provide Bookkeeping and management accounting services
Undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients
Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
Adhere to proper accounting standards
Meet deadlines and time budgets
Complete quarterly VAT returns for allocated clients
Preparation of year end accounts
