Bookkeeping/Payroll Assistant (Ref: J9313) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with a small Mid Kent based firm of accountants who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper. This is a rounded role and they are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of the computerised bookkeeping package – Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, etc. They use a variety of packages so strong ITC skills are essential.

You will support a varied client base with the majority of clients who they offer bookkeeping services to are VAT registered so some understanding of VAT would be useful. You will also need a good working knowledge of payroll as you will be running the weekly/monthly payroll for around 20 clients together with CIS and EC lists.

You must be happy to work in a small and friendly team. In turn they can offer in-house training and support, a 37.5 hour working week but you will need your own transport due to the location of the offices.

This role is offering a quick start but it will also wait for the right individual.
