Commercial Finance Manager / Business Partner (Ref: J11445) Permanent

This is a great opportunity for a skilled and accomplished Commercial Finance Manager / Business Partner to join a leading business based in East Kent on as 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).

This is a commercial focussed position providing timely, useful and insightful analysis to support understanding of all financial key performance indicators & inform and challenge commercial decision making.

Responsibilities
• Month end accounting close and help ensure management accounts are completed timely and accurately. As part of that monthly close, produce financial reports and variance analysis.
• Play a lead role in the monthly reforecasting and annual planning processes. Work closely with the commercial teams to gather insights and update assumptions in the financial forecasting models.
• Take the lead on full monthly analysis of departmental overheads and undertake accurate forecasting.
• Ensure that all new product development projects and launches have robust and accurate financial analysis.

You will need to be an accomplished Commercial Accountant and Business Partner with demonstrated skills and experience in a similar busy role, ideally from within a manufacturing, FMCG or distribution industry. You will ideally possess a relevant financial qualification such as CIMA ACCA or ACA. A strong level of business partnering is key to this role as you will deal with a number of key stakeholders at various levels, with differing requirements and challenges. You will also need to demonstrate a high level of commercial and managing accounting with relevant commentary and analysis. A high level of excel knowledge/usage is key.

On offer is a salary of up to £60,000 DOE, plus company benefits and hybrid working.
