£15 Million turnover group enterprise looking to appoint a new company accountant to work alongside the Financial Controller, supporting all aspects of accounts preparation and commercial accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger
- Monthly balance sheet review
- Run fixed asset register
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecast
- Monitor actual performance against budget monthly
- Investigate variances and provide updates
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting
- Support audit
You will have
You’ll ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or be working towards one of these qualifications. Previous experience in a commercial environment at similar level is a district advantage, however we will consider applicants with relevant analytical skills who are looking for their next step.
