Finance Assistant – 3 Month Contract – Sittingbourne
Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant on a 3-month FTC, this role is hybrid after the induction period.
Role Responsibilities:
· Maintain accounting and controlling systems of the company.
· Support internal and external audit.
· Provide support to Management Accountants.
· Maintain and update the purchase ledger.
· Review and reconcile the creditors and debtors accounts.
· Co-ordinate with Finance Assistant (Bank) regarding timing of payments and preparation of payment runs.
· Maintain and update the sales ledger.
· Conduct credit control procedures.
· Processing employee expenses.
· Support commercial procurement processes.
· Ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Finance.
Knowledge, Qualifications
& Experience:
· Strong communication skills.
· Experience in accounting procedures.
· Time management and prioritisation of workload.
· Proficiency working as part of a team and on own initiative.
· Experience of managing financial operations, designing and implementing suitable processes and working in a dynamic environment.
· Competence in Microsoft Office 365.
· Competence in Sage 200
