I am currently assisting a dynamic Kent based organisation with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant. With a focus on purchase ledger responsibilities this exciting opportunity would be an interesting move for somebody with at least two years’ experience in a similar role. Duties will include:
– Obtaining authorisation of supplier invoices and posting to the ledger
– Reconciling supplier statements as directed by the Accounts Controller
– Providing support for sales ledger and credit control during busy periods
– Preparing reports using Excel
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of double entry bookkeeping with the ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to work unsupervised and be competent in dealing with potentially complex scenarios within a purchase ledger environment.
