Finance Director (Ref: BH-10359) Permanent

A fast-growing, privately owned business, with a turnover exceeding £120m is seeking a commercially astute Finance Director to lead its Finance function.
 
Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a strategic leadership position with group-wide influence. You’ll be responsible for driving financial performance, managing risk, and supporting business-critical functions including IT and HR. This is a hands-on role with a strong leadership element, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and advising on financial and private wealth matters. Key Responsibilities:
 

• Direct the financial strategy of the group.
• Partner with Commercial and Operational leaders to ensure project profitability and effective asset utilisation.
• Maintain and recommend KPIs to support informed decision-making.
• Review and sign off management accounts.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and other finance providers.
• Manage treasury and funding arrangements including asset finance.
• Company secretarial duties for group entities.
• Oversee pension accounting and provide financial input to shareholder property ventures.

 
The successful candidate will be commercially minded, technically strong and detail-orientated with a proven track record as a Finance Director in a similar-sized organisation.
