Finance Manager (Ref: J10715) Permanent

Leading Kent based B2B sales and distribution business operation at c.£20M turnover and grown profitably throughout the past 18 months. Increased demand has led to the need to recruit a number one in finance, leading a team of 3 and reporting into MD.

Management Information

• Oversee the timely and accurate production of reporting including MI reporting
• To further develop MI reporting
• Present relevant financial and other reports to managers/directors
• Play a lead role in the preparation of annual budgets

Cash forecasting & generation

• Accurately maintain a rolling 12-month Cash Flow Forecast
• Identify opportunities and drive business wide initiatives

Payroll

• Collation of payroll data for monthly wages
• Ensuring salary information is passed to the third-party payroll company in a timely fashion
• Accurate recording of payroll information in the accounting software
• Scheduling payments of employee salaries, pension contributions and PAYE/NI to HMRC

Compliance

• To assist the auditors in the preparation of statutory reports
• Ensure all pension obligations are understood and met
• All tax deadlines are understood and met

Team management

• Lead the Finance Team in being a proactive service function
• Proactively improve financial processes
• Help to develop an excellent communication framework
