Financial Accountant – 10 month FTC (Ref: J11512) Permanent

Are you a Financial Accountant in need of a new contract? I’m working with an established business in East Kent who are seeking an accomplished and ideally qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Financial Accountant to provide critical support for a 10 month period. Prior experience of delivering robust financial accounting with the ability to engage across local and international teams would need to be demonstrated. International and/or Group experience would be beneficial, as well as exposure to US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Dues include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of annual balance sheet review
• Reconcile monthly intercompany recharges and ensure invoices are raised by Accounts Payable
• Monthly VAT preparation for UK, IOSS, IE and NL submissions
• Issue monthly FX rates to business
• Liaise across the Finance teams to ensure all invoices are posted and raise any required journals and accruals
• Obtain payroll information from HR and post payroll journal into SAP
• Reconcile balance sheet control accounts and post adjustments as required
• Reconcile P&L lines between different SAP schedules to ensure data is accurate
• Preparation of monthly inventory reports for distribution to Finance and Supply Chain
• Liaise with the audit team and the rest of the business to ensure a smooth audit
• Provision of information to tax advisors to facilitate preparation of annual tax computation
• Assist with the Sarbanes Oxley internal audit process
• Preparation and review of data requests for insurance renewals

Salary on offer is between £55,000 and £60,000 FTE, plus generous Hybrid working and a range of other company benefits. #J11512
