Financial Accountant (Ref: J9375) Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join a highly acquisitive business based in Mid Kent who offer long term career prospects. Working within a large finance function you will be responsible for:

– Manage the month-end close and reporting process for multiple entities across a number of geographies reporting to a US parent and UK group reporting function working closely with multiple internal stakeholders
– Work closely with external stakeholders to support investor reporting obligations
– Review and reconcile inter-company balances locally and globally which forms an essential control process for the group
– Complete upload journals for month-end reporting required locally with group reporting and for the US parent company
– Assist with month-end supplier payment run reviews and set up payments on banking platforms
– Support monthly cash flow review
– Manage UK group VAT submission
– Support annual budgeting and strategic planning process
– Work closely with management to support the preparation of monthly and quarterly business review material
– Support the collation of data working with multiple external stakeholders to produce a weekly flash summary report of the business unit revenue performance
– Support the statutory accounts preparation and annual audit

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of successful month end close to tight deadlines working with multiple internal and external stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units as well as identifying and implementing process and control improvements.
