FP&A Accountant (Ref: J9150) Contract Permanent

Our client, a large and innovative organisation based in South Kent, is looking to recruit an FP&A Accountant. This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for the financial planning, reporting and analysis of all aspects for a division of the group. Key duties will include;

– Consolidation of the division profit and loss account and balance sheet, cash flows and capital expenditure including monitoring, understanding and reporting against targets and previous years
– Weekly and monthly cash flow management and consolidation including ownership, review and improvement to existing cash flow models and outputs plus identifying cash risks and opportunities
– Deliver clear, detailed understanding of performance and variances during review meetings
– Supporting the Finance Director by preparing presentations for the Board on strategy and initiatives
– Work closely with the Heads of Finance to ensure clear understanding of forecasts, budgets, profit improvement plans, risk & opportunities
– Ensure that the strategic aims of the division are fully supported and met
– Lead consolidation of 5YP and annual budget working with the businesses to drive and support strategic objectives
– Competitor analysis – maintain up to date analysis understanding external trends and benchmarking performance

The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA with well developed communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
