My client is based in West Kent and they are looking for a Trainee to join their Firm. This role would suit an ambitious individual, either school leaver or graduate who is looking for a trainee role where you would be supported in mainly in accounts and taxation.
The Firm has a broad offering but is looking for someone to initially be involved in basic accountancy, tax and payroll work, but would who would want to then work up the levels and expand on their experience.
Duties would include:
Account preparation, bookkeeping and general administration
oBookkeeping and preparation of accounts
oTax return preparation and completion
oPreparing new client information records
oUnderstanding PAYE and assistance with payroll cases as needed
oGeneral office administration duties
The ideal candidate will preferably:
oHave strong A level results but decided to go straight into a training role rather than to university, or already have at least a 2:1 degree
oBe enthusiastic to learn and to understand how the UK tax system operates
oHave good communication skills
oBe able to work alone and as part of a team
