Head of Commercial (Ref: J10811) Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international financial services organisation as Head of Commercial. Reporting to the Commercial Director you will source, recommend and execute investment and other commercial opportunities. Key duties will include:

– Sourcing, negotiating, leading and executing debt purchase acquisitions as well as identifying and developing potential new clients
– Negotiate the commercial elements of sale & purchase agreements working closely with the Legal Team and covering all the key commercials with the sales contract
– Provide appropriate collaboration and challenge to the relevant Business Unit MD and Pricing Director to ensure that acquired portfolios meet performance expectations within the first twelve months
– Ensure the Deals Team maintains customer focus, drives curiosity, and leverages data to drive continuous improvement to deliver improvement and efficiency enhancements.

The successful candidate will have a finance background, an understanding of debt purchasing, strong analytical skills, a proven track record of negotiating complex deals and previous experience in a commercial role.

There is the option to work remotely or on a hybrid basis from their Kent office.
