Goldhawk are pleased to be representing this rare to the Kent market but exceptional opportunity at a FTSE listed nationwide Construction business.

You will support the Financial Controller in managing the Group’s cash and borrowings, with extensive focus on Cashflow forecasting on over 100 bank accounts, with a view to rationalising these in line with the Groups new Banking arrangements.

Your Main Responsibilities

Responsibility for the management, monitoring and forecasting of cash and borrowings which will involve:

• Managing and developing Treasury team, including Treasury Manager and Treasury Assistant

• Leading cash flow forecasting processes for the enlarged business, including utilisation of functionality in their Planning software
• Monitoring cash and cash flow performance against forecast
• Building relationships and working with banks that support the enlarged business
• Organising promissory notes and bonds where required by the business with banks and other external providers
• Leading integration process for cash and banking following acquisition of a sizeable PLC in January 2020
• Oversee treasury operations; payments, bank recs and administration Ensuring compliance with all loan covenants, including all reporting requirements
• Being proactive in assessing impact of changes in the business of the covenants – changes in accounting standards, acquisitions
• Prepare monthly and yearly cash flow for management accounts and statutory reporting
• Ensure regular and accurate treasury reporting to senior management, including preparation of Board and Audit Committee papers
• Assisting Group Finance team as required in other cash reporting requirements
