Exciting opportunity to join a established logistics company in their new state of the art warehouse in Corby. You will be an experience HR professional with at least 4 years pure HR experience and have experience of working in a blue collar environment. Strong Generalist experence including ER is essential.
Duties
– providing high quality, objective and robust partnering and generalist support to ensure the business develops and retains great people ensuring the culture and values remain at the forefront of all activity
– supporting the delivery of the people strategies and working across all areas of the Human Resource function
– overseeing all human resources operations and working closely with the other HR Business Partner on site and wider HR Team
– Supporting in the delivery of onboarding in close collaboration with managers and assist on probation reviews as part of ongoing development
– Providing up to date and knowledgeable advice to managers on the principles of UK employment law. Ensuring HR policies, processes and procedures are implemented to the required standard across the business
– Supporting Managers in the delivery of the Appraisal and Review processes, including attendance at annual and interim reviews ensuring progress is tracked and performance is managed.
– Partner with managers to efficiently handle employee relation issues in a pragmatic and efficient manner while maintaining employee engagement and compliance with current legislation
– Assisting managers with matters such as Dismissal for the 5 fair reasons, Grievance, Mediation and TUPE
– Providing exit interviewing for all regrettable losses in order to review workplace culture, day-to-day processes, management solutions, and employee morale and process leaver paperwork
– Coach, support and develop managers with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in areas including performance management, absence management, career development.
– Collaborate with managers on structural change such as redundancy, people processes and business improvement initiatives, ensuring engagement and motivation are preserved.
– Analyse and interpret employee management information such as turnover and lost days due to sickness or conducting reviews of training needs etc.
Salary £35 – £38,000 dependent on experience
