An organisation experiencing top down change over the past two and half years under the direction of a new Chief Executive, The IT function is undergoing rapid transformation, extending across hardware, software, divisional structure, leadership and culture. The focus now is to hire proactive, solution orientated individuals who work well as part of a team and understand what is required to create a high-performance IT department.
The Role
Tasked with delivering the overall IT strategy covering infrastructure, security and compliance, you should have come from a strong technical 3rd line background involved in delivering IT services for a large end user base.
Key activities include;
• Developing IT strategy for the business
• Deliver an infrastructure which complies with business requirements
• Monitor overall performance of your section and provide feedback on overall service management
• Act as knowledge POC for wider department
• Manage staff work delegation and performance management
Your Experience
You will demonstrate strong all-round business skills and ability to communicate with a broad audience communicated detailed and technical plans to a non-IT demographic. You will have led business change programmes from a delivery and budget management perspective, and understand the effective tools required to deliver successful change for best organisational outcomes.
Key Requirements;
1. Strong practical background in technical roles
2. Strong people management skills
3. Proactive and solution orientated
4. Project management / change management experience (Prince2, ITILV3)
