Interim Accountant (Ref: J9628) Temporary

We are currently looking to recruit an Interim Accountant for 2-3 months, to work for a growing business based in North Kent. The assignment is likely to last 2-3 months and you will be responsible for:

– Preparation of the monthly management accounts, from Trial Balance including accruals/prepayments
– Cash flow management including weekly and monthly forecasting
– Setting up and management of Direct Debit process
– Implement new methods for streamlining data entry and processing
– Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
– Assist with the month end reporting
– Balance sheet reconciliations
– Preparation of VAT return for review
– Processing day to day transactions (general book keeping)
– Daily banking and bank reconciliations
– Liaising with year-end accountants and providing supporting schedules
– Manage various HR administration matters including holidays/sickness
– Collating payroll and expense information for monthly review
– Various ad-hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will need to be available at short notice and have previously worked in a similar hands on role.
