Management Accountant (Ref: BH-10075) Contract

Goldhawk Associates are currently representing an excellent SME business in West Malling who are looking to recruitment a Management Accountant to oversee a wide range of companies and support the Financial Controller. Responsibilities include managing the accounting finance team, invoicing, credit control, creditor payment processes, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contractual documentation and procedures.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee payments, bank instructions, and annual operating budgets.
• Prepare treasury investment proposals and quarterly corporation tax payments.
• Manage the statutory audit process and prepare draft annual statutory accounts.
• Approve sales invoices and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the corporate calendar and draft year-end corporation tax computations.
• Prepare interim accounts, dividend, and loan note certificates.
• Support Finance Managers in delivering contractual financial information.
• Participate in the development of the finance function, team, and systems.
• Experience and Knowledge
• Current membership of a recognised accounting body.

This is an excellent role for someone who is actively studying towards a professional qualification or has extensive experience of working in a management accounts capacity.
