Are you ready to lead a market‑leading Personal Tax team and help shape the strategic direction of a top‑tier firm?

Our client is an established Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm with offices across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Personal / Private Client Tax Partner to drive complex advisory projects, nurture talent and expand a thriving portfolio of entrepreneurial and high‑net‑worth clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and grow a substantial book of Personal Tax and Private Client business, delivering bespoke tax‑efficient solutions for SMEs, owner‑managed businesses and HNWIs.
• Set strategy & standards for a multi‑office advisory team, ensuring first‑class compliance and innovative planning.
• Lead from the front: mentor, appraise and inspire senior managers and rising stars, cultivating a high‑performing, inclusive culture.
• Collaborate nationally with fellow Partners to deliver joined‑up, cross‑service‑line advice on succession planning, CGT, IHT, trusts and international structuring.
• Spot opportunity: originate and convert new work through networking, pitching and strengthening existing relationships.
• Tackle the complex: conduct deep‑dive research into evolving UK tax legislation and provide authoritative technical guidance to colleagues and clients.

What you’ll bring

• CTA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Proven Partner or Director‑level track record in Personal / Private Client / Mixed Tax within a professional‑services environment.
• Strong UK tax technical expertise coupled with commercial acumen.
• Demonstrable success in business development and strategic client relationship management.
• A passion for people leadership, coaching and building cohesive teams across multiple locations.
