Semi-Senior (Ref: J8147) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with an established regional Firm of Accountants, supporting them to appoint an Accounts Semi-Senior. Based near West Malling this opportunity can offer a nurturing environment with a supportive attitude towards development and training and where progression is encouraged.

You will work within this small but established team and be responsible for supporting and preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, Tax and general accounts and bookkeeping. You will gain exposure to a varied client base, with exposure to large clients and will be client engaging so good communications skills are key.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation of accounts predominately for limited companies as well as sole traders and LLPs
Preparation of corporation tax computations
VAT returns
Liaising with the HMRC
Bookkeeping
General accounting services and support

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice, be ACA/ ACCA Part-qualified or
AAT Qualified looking to continue your studies. Full support will be offered.
