Senior Financial Reporting Accountant (Ref: J9184) Permanent

We are currently working with a highly regarded financial services organisation based in Bromley who are looking to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. This is a newly created role that will cover all aspects of financial reporting including internal management reporting (including Board packs), external reporting and regulatory reporting. Key duties will include:

– Preparation of reliable, timely and complete year end management reports with analytical reviews and variance commentaries
– Preparation of year-end Statutory Accounts under IFRS
– Preparation and posting of journal entries into the system general ledger within the monthly reporting timetable including consolidation entries and technical provisions
– Establish good working relationship with a number of stakeholders across the organisation to work effectively across different teams as well with as external auditors and consultants.
– Support the Finance team in creating an environment of continuous improvement to ensure that all reporting is conducted to the highest possible standard, within set deadlines whilst meeting efficiency requirements.
