We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Tax Manager to lead our client’s tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.
You will be managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients as well as providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the directors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking to make a significant impact within a reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the private client tax team, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
- Provide expert tax advice on a range of issues, including corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation and regulations.
- Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimize client outcomes.
- Review and prepare complex tax returns and computations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax advisory role, with a proven track record of managing a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proactive and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
