Tax Accountant FT/PT (Ref: J5735) Permanent

My Client, based in Mid Kent, is looking to appoint a Tax Accountant on a Full time or Part-Time basis. They are a medium-sized firm that prides themselves on the processes and level of services they offer to their client base. This role would suit an experienced tax professional who has a good working knowledge of personal tax with the ability to support their client base in an advisory capacity as well as provide compliance services. This is a sole charge role so it important that you are happy dealing with all aspects of the role from top to bottom.

This role would suit someone with established experience and expertise in taxation, however, depending on your skillset the role can be molded to your strengths. ATT and/or CTA qualifications are desirable.

Your role:

– The role is primarily focused on Personal Tax, including the preparation of Tax Returns and related advice including CGT and IHT
– Any experience of Trust and Partnership Tax, tax residence, or Probate matters would be advantageous
– Corporation Tax and P11d experience useful, but not a requirement
– CTA preferred, or at least several years in practice. We would consider supporting CTA training
– Experience in CCH tax software and good Excel skills beneficial
– Ideally looking for 20-25 hours per week and there would be some flexibility with hours/days.
– You should be professional, communicate well, and be able to maintain a good working relationship with clients, as well as fit it well with colleagues in a friendly office environment
