Tax Accountant (Ref: J4854) Permanent

My client is a specialist taxation and accountancy practice based in West Kent and they are looking to appoint a Tax Accountant to join their firm with a particular interest in qualified accountants with exposure to trust and estate matters.

You will be encouraged to focus on ensuring clients are looked after and that they receive excellent customer service. You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients, catering for all their personal tax requirements, specifically for non-domestic clients, advising them on all aspects of taxation, compliance and legislation changes.

You will advise non domiciled individuals, with a varied business backgrounds and requirements on their personal tax issues, providing them with solutions, advice and support. You will undertake reviews of tax returns and computations, ensuring management of risk is delivered effectively. You will provide planning and advisory support around Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates as well as Overseas Taxation and also tax compliance. You will be working with sole traders, HNWI and limited companies with a broad range of turnovers.

They have strong links with London and this highly commercially role and would suit an experience ATT, CTA qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years’ experience looking for a serviced based opportunity where the client is key. Working in an experienced team in an established Firm there is the opportunity to develop if desired. If you have exposure to corporation tax as well there is scope for this to be part of the role. Alternatively if you are ACA qualified and looking to gain your CTA or STEP qualification, the firm would fully support that.
