Tax Manager (Ref: BH-10167-1) Permanent

Our client, a market leading and progressive organisation, is currently looking to recruit a Tax Manager. This is a newly created role and your key responsibilities will include:

– Review month end VAT postings and reconciliations
– Review quarterly VAT return workings and submit returns
– Lead on the VAT restructure project
– Review of annual corporation tax pack information to go to external tax advisor
– Responsible for quarterly instalment payment workings
– iXBRL tagging of financial statements for group
– Finalisation of yearend tax return
– Ownership of transfer pricing arrangements
– Review share options and dividends monthly reports and reconciliation
– Prepare year end share options reports and returns
– Tax due diligence on new acquisitions
– Provide training on tax issues to the wider finance team
– Assist with other ad hoc projects e.g. lease work, group simplification, statutory accounts preparation

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make the move from practice. The successful candidate will be CTA Qualified with experience of Corporation tax, VAT and Emplyment tax.
