Trainee Accountant (Ref: J11447) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates is supporting a small independent accountancy practice in Edenbridge who are looking to appoint to their team. They are looking for a Trainee Accountant with ideally at least one years’ experience in a practice environment. This is an office-based role, and they would look at a graduate looking to enter into a career in accountancy or someone who has a little bit of experience and is ideally looking to train and gain professional qualifications.

The job will involve::
• Payroll
• VAT preparation and submission
• Bookkeeping using accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Sage, etc)
• Personal tax returns
• Sole trader and partnership accounts
• Limited company accounts

You must be comfortable working with a variety of clients and in a small team. You will be given support and development but must be able to work independently.

You will be either a graduate or studying AAT/ACA/ACCA or Qualified by your experience but want to develop further.
