Our client, a large and highly successful organisation based in Mid Kent, is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 month contract. In this role you will be responsible for:
– Processing cashbook/sales journals
– Performing bank reconciliations
– Processing payment runs – mid month & month end
– Processing sales commission payments/ statements
– Raising customer invoices/credit notes
– Customer cash allocation
– Raising purchase orders and coding invoices for relevant overhead costs
– Dealing with ad hoc requests/emails e.g., customer payment queries
– Ad Hoc reporting and generation of information to support other departments
– Supporting the finance team with other tasks as required
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, strong analytical and organisational skills as well as the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels.
