Accounts Semi-Senior (Ref: J7526) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with an established regional firm of accountants, supporting them to appoint a part qualified accountant. Based near Sevenoaks this opportunity can offer a nurturing environment with a supportive attitude towards development and training and where progression is encouraged.

You will work within the business services team and be responsible for preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, tax, general accounts and auditing. You will gain exposure to a varied client base, ranging from SME’s to larger client. This role is client engaging so good communications skills are key.

You will be responsible for:

Preparing management and financial accounts
Preparation of accounts predominately for limited companies as well as sole traders and LLPs
Carrying out audits
Preparation of corporation tax computations
VAT returns
Liaising with the HMRC
General accounting services and support

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice, be ACA/ ACCA Part-qualified or
AAT Qualified looking to continue your studies. Full support will be offered.
