Accounts Semi Senior/Senior (Ref: J5501) Permanent

I am working to support my client, a regional specialist Firm of Accountants based in Medway, Kent, to appoint a Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a an Accounts Senior either AAT/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to join an established specialist department within the Firm working within their Healthcare specialist team servicing a range of GP’s, general & medical practices, LLP’s Partnerships and Ltd Companies.

This is a varied and broad client facing role so whilst supporting the Healthcare Services team to deliver a quality service to a range of clients, you will be responsible for your clients and will plan, prepare and undertake accounts assignments for manager/partner review. The key responsibilities of the role will include:

Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing tax computations and tax returns alongside the accounts work
Preparing superannuation certificates
Considerable client contact

The successful applicant will need to be able to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner, and be a good team player, to ensure the team as a whole meets its objectives. Support and development will be given. Ideally you will have experience of servicing similar clients in the past.
