Accounts Senior (Ref: J11140) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with a client who is looking to appoint to an Accounts Senior to their Firm. Based near Sittingbourne, my client is an established local firm who have many years’ worth of experience supporting a varied client base by providing accounts, tax and payroll services to a range of SME’s, Ltd Companies and corporate clients.

They are looking to support candidates to develop their careers as this firm is a recognised training organisation and as such, they are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years’ experience within the accountancy profession.

Depending on experience you will support the firm in a time of growth, providing their clients with professional accountancy support and services. You will be involved in supporting the manager and servicing clients with accounts preparation, general bookkeeping, and taxation services.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation of accounts predominately for limited companies as well as sole traders and LLPs
Preparation of corporation tax computations
VAT returns
Liaising with the HMRC
Tax advisory work
General accounting services and support
Overseeing and reviewing work of more juniors members of the team

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice, be ACA/ ACCA Part-qualified/Qualified or
AAT Qualified. Full support will be offered. This is an office-based role.
