Accounts Senior (Ref: J5830) Permanent

Local established Firm of Accountants is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to their Firm. Based within an easy commute from Kent or Sussex they are looking for someone with experience to join their team. The Firm has been established in the local area for a long time and has great ties with the area. It prides itself on its relationships with clients and continues to develop relationships both locally and further afield.

They are looking for an Accounts Senior to take responsibility for managing a small portfolio of medium to large owner managed clients such as property companies, manufacturing and service companies. The vast majority of clients will have turnovers in excess of £5 million and you will either be responsible for supporting these clients on a sole charge basis or managing and leading a small team.

You will be responsible for preparing accounts and ensuring budgets are met and maintained, preparing information and documentation, financial reporting, preparation of VAT and corporate tax computations in line with the client’s needs. You role will intake working closely and effectively with your clients in order to provide and effective service whist progressing and developing the team.

It is essential that you have previous experience at a similar level, strong ITC skills and a professional qualification.
