Main purpose of job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong administrator to join a leading Housing Association in Kent, on a 3-month FTC, with the Voids & Lettings Team. You will provide administrative support for the Voids & Lettings Officers with any tasks relating to letting void properties, ensuring set targets are met and that work is undertaken in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures.
Other Key Tasks:
• Assessing applications, arranging inspection appointments, banding according to housing need, and updating all details on the CRM to enable production and maintenance of a list of live applicants.
• Proactively handle all enquiry processes to prevent them going overdue.
• Monitor the Voids & Lettings team inbox to ensure enquiries are actioned within timescales
• Assist handovers/transfer of tasks effectively between team members and clear communication with the Voids & Lettings Officers and Team Leader.
• Various general office duties. For example: collating information for residents and adding to the sign-up pack, and ensuring documents are printed ready for collating.
Candidate Profile
• A good standard of education with good written / verbal English and maths.
• Able to use MS Office suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.
• Experience of office administration – organising systems, records and files.
• Driving License, as this post requires occasional travel.
• Desirable to have an awareness of the social housing sector. (not essential)
• Advanced use of MS Office suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.
