Audit Manager (Ref: J7994) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are working with a reputable firm based in North Kent that is looking to appoint an Audit Manager. They are looking for an ambitious accountant looking for that step up to further their career. They are looking for someone with an Audit background who has previous experience within the accountancy profession.

Based in North Kent they are an established firm of accountants who have a very strong reputation of excellence and have a clear strategy and CPD in place. This role is to take on part of the portfolios of the current Partners to develop and increase the portfolio with recognition and reward for new business developed.

The main duties of this role include:

Planning, supervising and reviewing accounts, audit and corporation tax for your client portfolio.
Coordinating ad-hoc advisory work and liaising with other departments as required.
Supervising staff and providing assistance regarding technical queries and professional development.
Effective portfolio management, agreeing budgets with clients and billing on agreed terms.
Looking for new business opportunities
Working with Partners and Directors to plan and develop our audit and assurance offering, planning for technical changes in the sector and looking for new opportunities.

You will be ACA/ACCA with an Audit background
You must have previous portfolio management experience
You must have previous business development experience
Be able to demonstrate staff management
You can either have experience in the Kent market or be looking to move out of London
A strong personality is key as dealing with a varied client base is integral to the role and the current structure of the team
